Besides Disney one of the things I really enjoy are classic movies. Tonight while shopping I came across the third boxed set in the Warner Oland Charlie Chan series. Volume four with Sidney Toler comes out in February.
When I was much younger our local PBS station would run these films on Friday nights after an episode of Dr. Who. For those of you who are familiar with Dr. Who my favorite actor in the role was Tom Baker. (I had a crush on Elisabeth Sladen who played Sarah Jane Smith)
Anyway, I believe the program was called Friday Night Mystery Theater, I could be wrong though. Besides the Chan films they also ran the classic Sherlock Holmes films starring Basil Rathbone. The shows where hosted by a local AM radio personality named Del Monaco. Del presented the shows much like Robert Osborne does on Turner Classics. Each Chan episode runs just over an hour in length. This may be just the thing I need to get me on the treadmill.

Joggerblogger, I like the term dreadmill. That is exactly how I feel about it.
Bela rocks. In my opinion he is the best Dracula. Have you seen the spanish version that was filmed at night on the same sets. It is very good and has a different cast. Interesting to see the same sets filmed and lit in different styles.
