Blustery

Not a great deal going on out on the Tundra tonight. So just a quick update. Following work this afternoon I mowed the yard. Temp 35F and the wind was fairly strong. The mowing got me warmed up and I was anxious to start jogging. Early into my jog I realized my shins were begining to hurt. I figured it was because I was leaning into the wind. After adjusting my posture things were some what better, but the soreness was already there. My first 5.5 miles became a wog as I tried to work through it. Eventually I did and my only other discomfort was in my left foot, which had been ok until mile 7. That fortunately did not last long and I managed to end up with a decent jog of 12.55 miles. As I sit here 4 hours later my foot is sore, but it's not that overstreached feeling I had last week. This is all in the ball of my foot. It feels like someone is pressing their thumbs into it. Which oddly enough is the very thing that makes it feel better. Go figure...

It's been unseasonably cool here as well. Low 70's mind you, but considering that it is normally in the low to mid 90's this time of year, that's pretty cool. I'm not complaining by any means!

I know that feeling and my calf muscles a sore I do not know how far I will make it tonight and My time will suffer again. Shoes I think.

I go to Planet Fitness. They are open M-t 5a-12a, Fri 5a -10p S-S 8a-8p. When I work weekends they are closed in the morning and in the evening when I get home and I loose 2 days of cardio. I want to go to 24 hour fitness but they want first ,last and sec.

We are experiencing kind of those conditions here. It's like 45 deg. here and there is a strong breeze blowing. Made for a cold run today.

Be thankful that you don't have to deal with the rain out here in Seattle, too Jeffy. ;)

Hey - did you see that Fernando stopped over at my blog today? He's such a great guy!

I'll tell ya - I'm definately not training to walk this thing - although I realize that I might not be able to RUN it the whole way. We'll see. I'm training to FINISH - and then maybe improve my time for 2010. ;)

MAIN STREET AWAITS!

Just wanted to let you know that I've enjoyed the last few posts. I'm just now able to comment because I've been away for a few days. I really enjoyed the old school Disney stuff.
