A Personal Best

Tonight was a good night. As I hit mile ten I realized I could possible end with an average pace under 10. In fact I thought I might finish my 20K run in 2 hours. Well I nearly did. I went just 1 min and 9 sec over. But hey this was exciting. This was the best time I have ever posted for a 20K. As Dam is approaching on the 31st I will most likely pull back on my long runs by a mile or two. To help save my legs (and feet) a bit.

Oh and if you notice that best pace of 5.13. Don't get too excited I never went that fast. I am sure it has something to do with rounding a corner or something like that.

How are your long runs coming along?

Great job. You are going to pull a great time in the half. I've still not run further than five miles in one outing...so it's still up in the air how I'll do. My naive goal is to finish in under 2:30.
